So I’ve booked myself onto the Milton Keynes Superhero Fun Run 2017 not because I’m a concerned dad and want my children to be active but because I want to own one of these:
Just LOOK at that bad boy.
Anyone who does not want one of these to grace their trophy/medal cabinet (or to start one off) is battier than the massive cave of bats in Batville – Britain’s battiest village – that has just welcomed a brand new colony of over a million bats.
Harry’s Rainbow are a registered charity, No. 1149011 who provide support and information via their website www.harrysrainbow.co.uk as well as providing help, support and resources as part of organised trips, events and monthly group for bereaved children and families in the MK and surrounding areas.
Join In The Madness
Although this is a family event you are welcome and encouraged to be a part of it.
Here’s how you can get involved:
- Donate to Harry’s rainbow and help children and their families through the bereavement process
- Register to take part in the Milton Keynes Superhero Fun Run dressed as your favourite superhero and join my team ‘Team Thomas‘
All nice and simple really which is what it should be.
Hopefully the Great British weather will hold out and remain dry at least.
Event organisers advise people to book early as the fun run is very popular and spaces are limited.
Hopefully we can all meet up, go for a short walk/run and raise some money for a Milton Keynes based good cause.
