I looked up from the floor, hands on knees, drenched in sweat to see others had succumb to the same fate: they were done.
We had just completed what seemed our hundredth block of insanity on this our Insanity instructor training day.
Each trainee instructor had to have the opportunity of leading one block of insanity in small groups which meant we all worked our way through rounds of insanity.
It took me three and a half days to get the full use of my legs back.
It was sometime in the late afternoon that I turned to one of my fellow trainee instructors to declare that it now feels like torture and yet there was a high intensity and amazing buzz electrifying the small exercise studio that had been our classroom for the day.

It has the benefit of being aimed at high performance athletes as well as newbies to fitness and exercise.
Due to the way the program is structured more challenging exercises are there for those who can do them as well as modifications/alternative lower options for those who need to take things more slowly.
Insanity also has the benefit of being able to burn fat faster and in a shorter amount of time.
