3 Secrets To A Body Transformation

3 Secrets To A Body Transformation image

A body transformation is incredibly important to people.

When you begin transforming your body – and mindset – you’re making a public statement that you you have the desire to change and are taking action to do it.

But the plethora of guru’s on the internet and across social media makes achieving success tricky.

A simple Google search for ‘body transformation’ will throw up before and after pictures as well as every man and his dog’s ‘best advice’ on how to ‘get the body of you’ve been craving’.

How do you know what matters and who to listen to?

Confusion leading to demotivation is commonplace for people looking to transform the way the look and feel and this post I’ll cover how to choose the right body transformation program for you.

Be aware that this list does not cover absolutely everything needed for a successful body transformation.

Rather the following three transformation tips are the three most important factors to consider when searching for a body transformation that will stack the odds massively in your favour for success.

1. Commitment To An Exercise And Nutrition Program

You’ve got to stick it out.

But not just to any old exercise and nutrition program.

I’m talking about a program that has had proven results and testimonials from members of the public who have already seen results.

Then when you’ve signed the dotted line you have to commit.

As the Americans like to say: don’t half-arse it, use your full arse.

Be committed to both the exercise and nutritional program.

By the way, a decent exercise and nutrition program will have room for some slack when you are unable to make a training session or for when you get invited to your niece’s birthday and end up snorting half a Victoria Sponge.

A good program and trainer will get this and not be judgemental.

Quite the opposite.

They will understand that we are all human and that the best thing to do is get straight back on track with your transformation goals.

They will also make training sessions fun and energising not ‘something you have to do’.

What’s the best way to find out if they cut the mustard?

Go for a free trial and find out EXACTLY how things are done.

Ask questions of the people exercising as to what it’s actually like and if they are getting results.

2. Rest

Specifically a good night’s sleep and taking rest days from exercise.

The mind and body both need a decent recharge every night.

Exercising everyday or too much can lead to weight gain.

Not only that but prioritising a trip to dozyland increases the success rate of a body transformation.

If you’re not getting in the kip then here are a few things to consider:

  • Turn off the electronic devices a hour before bedtime
  • De-clutter your bedroom and make it a place of peaceful calm
  • Does your mattress need changing? Go for quality over price.
  • Find a way to de-stress (mine is choral classical music) or try a short slow cooldown routine
  • Commit to a program of exercise and healthy nutrition

Whichever way you cut it giving your mind and body time to repair is one of the healthiest things that you can do for you.

3. Positive Mindset

This is perhaps the most important tip for a successful body transformation.

You have to want to change.

Being forced to do something seldom leads to a successful outcome.

You need to be crystal clear about why you want to change.

A good trainer will take you through the process of finding out what your goals are even if you do not know what they are yourself.

They will listen, cajole a little but ultimately find out your inspiration to want change and what your goals are.

Without goals you have hopes.

Whilst hopes live inside your head, goals can be written down and used to track your progress.

Goals can be realigned to cope with the demands of your personal schedule.

Goals are tools with which you can accomplish targets and make success work for you.

These three essential ingredients to a successful body transformation do not happen right away.

But that is the beauty of committing to a program: you can be coached.

Once you commit to a body transformation program you’ll be on track for some truly awesome results that can be life changing.
