I remember when I popped my ankle which took me out of rugby training for the remainder of the season.
Training twice a week playing every Saturday and hitting the gym came to an abrupt halt. Misery soon followed which was prolonged and I couldn’t figure out what to do with myself.
Yesterday I couldn’t lift for arm curls due to tennis elbow and 5 minutes into my workout I had to stop.
So instead of moping around I’ve hit a new program today that uses an aerobic step. I had to move today otherwise I would lose it. And it worked a treat.
I haven’t even looked at the nutrition guide that comes with the program so I’ll be doing a few workouts through till the weekend then starting again on Monday having worked out the daily calorie target.
Shaun T is the trainer and is a so inspiring that I’m totally motivated all over again to finish this program to the end.David Thomas
I haven’t skipped a workout and everyday I look forward to getting on the step and pressing play.
This current program is a game changer for me right now because I’m no longer lifting (which I miss) and need a quick cardio/bodyweight based regime whilst my elbow is in rehab with a duo ball.
I usually just grab the duo ball after the workout and work my elbow with it.
Although workouts are just twenty minutes it’s non stop with three opportunities to push yourself and your fitness levels higher in a one minute ‘burn out’.
If you’d like to join me on this program then complete this form and I can send you everything you need to know but really all you need is an exercise step.
