Who says you can’t eat ice lollies because they are bad for you?
These creamy homemade ice lollies are very easy to make and all you need are three ingredients, some sort of blender and some ice lolly moulds.
If you don’t have the moulds then like me you can store the ice cream into freezer proof containers.
Homemade Ice Lollies
- 10oz frozen fruit of choice
- 1 can full fat coconut milk (or 13 oz milk of choice)
- 2 tbsp sweetener of choice, or pinch uncut stevia
- 1 very ripe banana (optional)
Yes there is full fat coconut milk in this recipe which makes the lollies creamy – so watch those portion sizes.
Any milk will work.
You can also blend in 1/4 cup of raw almond butter for a creamy result if you can’t have coconut but want creamier lollies.
How To Make Homemade Ice Lollies
Blend all ingredients until completely smooth.
Transfer the mix into lolly moulds/container and place into the freezer.
I add lolly sticks approximately about half an hour after freezing – the sticks tend to stay upright after this time.
To easily remove the lollies when you are ready to much them run the mould under warm water for a few seconds then gently twist off.
