If you like seafood then this easy one-pot quick cook meal is for you.
It’s one of the simplest I’ve come across coming in at just seven ingredients.
Prawn And Leek Chowder
- 2 tsp vegetable oil
- 150g new potatoes, cut into 2cm dice
- 1 leek, sliced
- 400ml vegetable Stock
- 195g sweetcorn, drained
- Half a 235g pack frozen king prawns
- 200ml semi-skimmed milk
How To Make Prawn And Leek Chowder
Heat the vegetable oil in a dutch oven/medium saucepan.
Add the diced potatoes and sliced leek – fry for five minutes.
Add the stock and sweetcorn then bring to the boil.
Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the king prawns and milk and cook for a further 5 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the prawns are cooked right through.
Simple tasty food every time.
