When you do there really is no need to add sugar as the natural sugar from the warmed fruits is more than enough to satisfy a sweet tooth.
- 2 crumpets
- 50g zero fat Greek yogurt
- 75g strawberries, sliced
- 25g raspberries
- 25g blueberries
- A sprinkle of ground mixed spice
- 2 tsp of honey
How To Make Toasted Wholewheat Crumpets With Spiced Berries And Yogurt
Place the crumpets in a toaster or under the grill until lightly browned.
Heat a non-stick frying pan on medium heat and add the fruit.
Sprinkle with the ground mixed spice and cook stirring regularly so that the fruit is soft but not mushed.
Place the toasted crumpets onto a plate and top with the fruit.
Add the yogurt on top and drizzle with the honey.
